Listen to the music.When was the last time you heard live music? The cities of Richmond and nearby Cold Spring host free outdoor concerts during the summer months! And in August, you can even catch a delightful seasonal musical performed by the Great Northern Theatre Company. Held at the Rocori High School Auditorium, it’s a fun family event.

Catch a baseball game.The nearby Cold Spring baseball park is well known in central Minnesota by amateur baseball fans. In fact, Cold Spring’s teams have won more state baseball tournaments in their class than any other town in the state! Take your family out to the ballgame and see the Springers (class B) or Rockies (class C) in action this summer!

Shop local.Visit the Richmond Farmers Market for fresh produce, local honey and syrup, natural soaps, lotions, and much more. And in the fall you can take a short drive over to Hidden Cove Apple Orchard and find something tasty at the apple barn gift shop. Our area has many wonderful small businesses and locally owned shops to explore.
