Riverside Resort is located in Richmond, Minnesota, nestled along Cedar Island Lake – part of the legendary Horseshoe Chain of Lakes, as many folks still call it. Our “family resort on a fisherman’s lake” is only about 80 miles northwest of the Twin Cities, which means less time in the car and more time enjoying your north woods vacation.​

In a word, Riverside Resort is magical! Whether it is just the two of us or our group of 19, we always have the best time! There is plenty to do at the resort as well as space to do nothing at all. From fishing to kayaking, yard games to cards on the deck - Riverside Resort is where we go every chance we get to relax and recharge. Joe & Christina (and their precious family) have created a welcoming, relaxing environment that feels like home to us.

We’re so glad you’re here. We’re the DeRoses, fourth-generation owners of Riverside Resort, which has proudly remained in our family since it was built nearly a century ago.
​From its earliest days, Riverside Resort has operated on faith, family, fishing, and fun, and we keep that spirit alive today. Along with first-class fishing and watersports, outdoor Sunday church services, and our rascally mascot (the Riverside Rabbit), we have so many fun family activities both on and off the water that you’ll find it hard to choose.
